Hello, Can anyone tell me when A. E. DAVIS was active as a photographer in Worcester? I have a photo with his logo, showing a man in several poses, as if the camera had moved around him in a circle. My guess is circa 1900, but I'm not sure. Thank you. Walter G. I can't answer the question directly, but I do recall a few years ago working with a book in the Worcester Public Library that contained a great deal of information on the business lives of many Worcester area photographers from the 1800s onward. I don't recall the name of the book, but it should be known to the librarian on the third floor near the genealogy department.
