    1. [MAWORCES] KIDDER in graveyards in Sutton, Oxford

    3. Hello, One of my "very distant cousins" has e-mailed to ask if I knew whether he would be able to find "old gravestones" for his KIDDER ancestors in Oxford and Sutton, MA. And, I was wondering if someone could tell me about the "old graveyards" in those towns. I'll offer below some basic information on his ancestors. Betty (near Lowell, MA) FYI: 28 FRANCIS KIDDER (Enoch, James), of Oxford and Sutton, both in Worcester Co., Mass., born at Billerica, Middlesex Co., Mass., 1 Oct. 1703; died at Oxford, Mass., 20 Oct. 1763. He married at Billerica, 24 Feb. 1730, ELIZABETH HILL, born 14 May 1711; died at Sutton, Mass., 31 Jan. 1805, daughter of Jonathan and Mary (Brackett) Hill. 71 JONATHAN KIDDER (Francis, Enoch, James), born at Sutton, Mass., 6 July 1744; died at Oxford, Mass., 16 July 1816. He married at Sutton, 30 Nov. 1769, SUSANNA DWINNEL, born at Oxford, in 1745; died there 2 Apr. 1819, daughter of Jonathan and Mehetable (Kennay) (sic.) Dwinnel. Jonathan Kidder, Samuel Blanchard and others, with their estates, were set off from the town of Sutton, and annexed to the town of Oxford, Feb. 18, 1793. Their son, Jacob KIDDER, moved north to Dixfield, Maine, and married there. FYI: The update of the 1941 KIDDER book is continuing, and the researcher still needs KIDDER information during the 1900's.

    3. I would suggest www.raogk.com. he can find the state and look for volunteers who will do the research for him and take the pics. I had to wait for spring on my request but it was worth the wait.
