MARTIN was KIA in the Asiatic-Pacific theather in March 1945. During WWII she worked as an assembler at the Winchester Rifle Co. in New Haven. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Church and its Women's Guild, and a member of the Gold Star Mothers. Born in Grafton to Joseph & Sophia (LABARE) PIETTE. Her husband, Arthur ST. MARTIN, a retired city firefighter, died in 1973. Burial i Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Deember 11 1992, Shrewsbury, Irene C. (CLOUTIER) PRISK, 86, Harold E. PRISK, her son, was KIA during the Korean War in 1951. For more than 20 years she worked as a clerk at the former Barnard, Sumner & Putnam Co., department store in Worcester. Born in Leominster to Frederick & Belzemier (BEAUDET) CLOUTIER, and raised in Worc. Widow to William B. PRISK, 1963. Burial in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. August 14 1992, Spencer, Delia (WILLETTE) VIAU, 84, died in Fern Park, FL Her son, John THEURER of Spencer, was KIA in the Korean War. She was a former employee at Kleven Shoe Co., and a member of GAUDETTE-KIRK Post # 138, American Legion. Born in Ware to Garfield & Ovelin WILLETTE. Widow to Henry VIAU for several years. Her burial is in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. March 6 1992, Marie B. (GROEZINGER) HAGGERTY, 93, of Tuscon, AZ, formerly of 1 Rogers Drive, is the mother of John J. HAGGERTY Jr., of Worcester, who was killed during WWII. She was a 60 year member of St. Margaret Mary Church and a member of Post #5, American Legion Aux. Born in East St. Louis, MO to Karl & Anna (GOETZ) GROEZINGER, and lived here most of her life before moving to Tuscon in 1987. The late John J. HAGGERTY, her husband, died in 1986. Burial in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. January 31 1992, Clinton, Alice I. (JOHNSON) DUNCANSON, 91, mother to William M. DUNCANSON Jr., KIA in 1945 while servig in the Army Air Force. She is a member of the First Congregational Church of Clinton and Clinton's Women's Club. Born in Clinton to William O. & Sarah (WEIR) JOHNSON. Widow to retired Army Lt. Col. William M. DUNCANSON Sr., 1971. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. January 4 1992, Marlboro, Lillian L. (MORIN) SMITH SCHOENBECK, 87, her son, Navy Ensign Donald R. SMITH was killed in wartime. She was an employee at the former B.A. Corbin Co. A member of St. Mary's Church; member of John P. COLLEARY Post #638, VFW Aux.; Hudson Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose Aux, and Hudson Aerie of Eagles. Born in Marlboro to Damase & Arzelia (VIGEANT) MORIN. Widow to Carl SCHOENBECK Sr. She was also mother to the late Richard A. SMITH. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. July 11 1990, Grosvenordale, Clementina S. (SIMONZI) LATICI, 91, a son, Renald LATICI was KIA in France in 1944. Employee for several years at Hockannum Worsted Co., Rockville, and a communicant at St. Joseph's Church, North Grosvenor Dale. Born in San Agostino, Province of Emilia, Italy to Ralph & Mary (MAINI) SIMONZI and came to the U.S. in 1903, settling in Plymouth. Widow to the late Albert LATICI Sr., 1972. Burial in Elmvale Cemetery, Woodstock. May 19 2007, Worcester, Mary P. (YANKOWSKY) MOONEY, 94, mother to U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Walter S. MOONEY, who was killed in combat in Vietnam, 1966. A member of St. George Church and founder and former member of St. Joan of Arc Church. Born in Worcester to Stephen & Antoinette (BAGDANOVICH) YANKOWSKY. Her late husband, John J. MOONEY, an Army Veteran of WWII, died in 1995. Burial in St. John's Cemetery. ***************************************** More to come
