(MOORE) MACDONALD, 98, a son, Reginald A. MACDONALD died fighting in WWII. She was born in Chatham, New Brunwick to James & Rosana (GREENE) MOORE. She lived in Belmont before moving to Mendon in 1947. Her husband, Arthur M. MACDONALD died in 1970. Interment in Swan Dale Cemetery. Deember 5 2001, Worcester, Rita C. (GRIFFIN) ADAMS O'DELL, 83, her son Lance Cpl. George F. ADAMS was KIA during the Vietnam War. A nurse's aide for many years and member of Christ the King Church. Born in Worcester to John & Delia (HOWE) GRIFFIN. Her first husband, Wilfred J. ADAMS died in 1956. She leves her husband, James E. O'DELL. Burial in St. John's Cemetery. September 18 2001, Shrewsbury, Assunta (GERMANO) ROCCANTI, 100, mother to Edward J. ROCCANTI who died in WWII. Born in Italy to John & Philomene (RUZZA) GERMANO and lived many years in Florida before moving to Shrewsbury in 2000. Widow to Ferdinand ROCCATI, 1978. Burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pompano Beach, FL. September 9 2001, Fitchburg, Mary G. (WALSH) MCNALLY, 88, a son, Captain Paul F. MCNALLY was KIA in 1965 during the Vietnam War. She became a registered nurse in 1935, working at various hospitals and privately. She was local president, state treasurer, and past national officer and chaplain of the Gold Star Mothers. A longtime member of St. Bernard's Parish. Born in Fitchburg to Patrick J. & Ellen L. (FURLONG) WALSH. Wife of 56 years to the late William H. MCNALLY, died in 1998. Her burial is in the St. Bernard's Cemetery. February 10 2001, Shrewsbury, Kathleen E. (MCCOOK) SHEEHAN DUPLIN, 87, * no son's name or death mentioned during any war time period, but there is a son, Joseph E. SHEEHAN that died in 1959, and it does state that she was a Gold Star Mother. Born in Marlboro to Joseph & Mary (MCDERMOTT) MCCOOK. Her husband, Roderick DUPLIN died in 1974. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Marlboro. January 5 2000, Webster, Theresa (KOPAS) BERESIK, 102, her son, Eugene BERESIK died in the Vietnam War. She had worked at Packard Woolen in Dudley Born in Zasrania, Slovakia to Martin & Susanna (JANUS) KOPAS. A longtime widow of Martin BERESIK, who died in 1934.
