Can anyone provide additional details on Olive Holbrook, please? I found this marriage record on Ancestry. Most specifically, I would like to know who the parents of Olive Holbrook were, and when she was born.   Name: Olive Holbrook Spouse: Ezra Shaw Marriage Date: 6 Nov 1810 Marriage Place: Sturbridge Source: Vital Records of Sturbridge Full Text: Olive and Ezra Shaw, Nov. 6, 1810   The 1800 US census for Sturbridge lists a few Holbrooks who appear to have had daughters of the appropriate age for marriage in 1810: James, John II, John III, and Hannah.   Any help would be greatly appreciated!   Thanks much,   Barbara Proko Worcester native    

Good morning, Barbara. :-) It would appear that her parents were James and Olive. From the NEHGS 1841-1910 database, I found her death record. Olive (Holbrook) Shaw, wid., a. 87 y. 4 m. 19 d., d. Sept. 23, 1876 in Norfolk. Cause was senile debility and secondary indigestion. She was born in Wrentham to James and Olive (Smith) Holbrook. Their birth places were Wrentham and Medfiled, respectively. MA State Archives Vol. 284, page. 241. Ezra d. Feb. 19, 1856, a. 73 y. 11 m. 28 d. in Wrentham. No cause given. He was a farmer. Place of birth and parents' names not given. MA State Archives Vol. 103, page. 187. I was unable to locate a brith for Ezra.
