I searched for "World War II veterans" and boy will I be busy, therefore these veterans obituaries will be condensed. *** The date provided is the published date #1 (24 Jan 1994) Lawrence A. JACQUES, 77, of 198 1/2 W. Main St., Millbury, died in St. Vincent Hosp., Worcester. He is the widower of Anne S. (CESAITIS). Born in Millbury to Julien & Lena (LEBLANC) JACQUES. An Army veteran of WWII. Worked 40 yrs at Felters Co., retiring in 1982. Burial in St. Brigid's Cem., Millbury. #2 (23 Jan 1994) Ralph R. SWEDBEG, 67, of 231 Green St., Shrewsbury and Boca Raton, FL, died in U of Mass Hosp., Worcester. He leavs his wife of 38 yrs, Virginia M. (LAVIGNE). Born in Worcester to Richard N. & Mabek A. (AXELSON) SWEDBURG. A Navy veteran of WWII. Co-founder of Bergson's ice cream store's in Worc. and Leominster areas, retiring in 1986. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery. #3 (20 Jan 1994) WARE- Louis A. LEMON, 74, of 471 Belchertown Road. Widower of Josephine (DUSZA), who died in 1973. Born in Ware to Arthur & Maude (BLAIR) LEMON. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He worked as a grader operator for 30 yrs, retiring in 1981. He was also owner and operator of Lemon's Bait Shop. Burial will be in Quabbin Park Cemetery. #4 (27 Dec 1993) HUDSON- Julius LAKSTUTIS, 80, formerly of 14 Old Stow Rd, died in Clinton Hospital. Widower of Blanche (WISZNIESKI), dying in 1990. Born in Hudson to Martin & Stephanie (KARAS) LAKSTUTIS. A Navy veteran of WWII. He was a 40 yr employee of the former Lapointe Machine Tool Co Burial in Forestvale Cemetery. #5 (12 Dec 1993) WORCESTER- William J. MORAN, 69, of 4 Seconset St., died in Boylston. He leaves his wife Anne (CRONIN). Born in Worcester to Herbert J. & Helen (HORTON) MORAN. An Army veteran of WWII.
