I've "rescued" an old photograph of 6 men taken by C. E. Wellman in Chester, Vermont. The photograph was taken outside in front of a home or building and indicates that it is either in Chester or Bellows Falls, VT. The photograph is dated 1904 and identifies the men in the photograph as: Albert MORCE (guessing this is actually MORSE) F. C. PARMENTER Eliet MORCE (guessing this is Eliot MORSE) L. N. PARMENTER L. E. DAY Rob SLOAN And the dog "Stride" identified as well. The men in the photograph appear to range in age from 20's to 60's. Based on limited research I was able to locate quite a lot of information regarding this group of men and have included that information below: Foster C. PARMENTER b. Sept 1876 in VT to parents Lucien PARMENTER (b. Oct 1847 in VT) and Alice R. CUTLER (b. Mar 1857 in VT). Foster married Lulu M. MORRIS about 1903 and together they had two children, Arminala R. PARMENTER b. about 1904 and Alletah E. PARMENTER b. about 1909 both in VT. It appears that he may have also been married previously as noted in census info below. Census records provide the following information: 1860 census of Townshend, VT: Hannah MORSE, age 55, born VT Emery A. MORSE, age 28, a Farm Laborer, born VT Elliot S.
