    3. Dick; I think that you mean WWII since radar was not developed until then. During WWII Whitin Machine Works in Whitinsville did radar work. I have a tape from my Grandfather where he described that Whitin Machine Works shifted from making textile machinery to military use - including radar. He stated that folks were bused in from Worcester to add more labor. Sorry that I don't have more information, but I hope this helps. What was that company & what were they making? She is still alive in MA, but does not remember much about it. There were many young girls working there during the war. Likely nothing in papers during war, but possibly just after.
