Hi Brent: In the non-printed vital records of Douglas, MA, I can give you this for DORR: Dorm - see Dorr: George, son of Henry and Nancy b. 22 Aug 1819 For those of you who are not aware - a portion of the vital records of Douglas did not get into print. This is primarily from 1718 to 1843. WHY this happened, is open to all sorts of speculation. I don't have the answer. I have been extracting these items that do not appear, or if they do, correcting what is in the printed vital records and I hope to have them ready for printing before the year is out. The births are done, and I am working on the marriages, and I am up to the TITUS name. I still have the deaths to go. As to the request for lookup - please be a bit more specific in what you are looking for in the DORR area. Mary 3 Rawson b. 22 Jun 1699 Mendon, MA d. 09 Apr 1776 Mendon, MA age in 77th year, and is buried in Old Cemetery, Mendon, MA. She was the daughter of Rev. Grindall 2 and Susannah (Wilson) Rawson. She m 09 Apr 1724 Mendon, MA Rev. Joseph Dorr b. 1690 Roxbury, MA; d 09 Mar 1768 Mendon, MA in his 79th year. He too is buried in Old Cemetery, Mendon, MA. Will Mendon 1768 Docket Number A17277. He was the son of Rev. Edward and Elizabeth (Hawley) Dorr. Their children: DORR 4 01 Mary b. 06 Jun 1725 Mendon, MA d. 10 Jan 1796 02 Joseph Rawson b. 24 May 1730 Mendon, MA d. 31 Oct 1808 03 Catherine Elizabeth b. 08 Mar 1732 Mendon, MA; d. 22 Feb 1791 04 Susannah b. 04 Sep 1734 Mendon, MA d. 21 Jun 1783 Milford, MA there may have been two others Isaac who died 13 Aug ____ age 13 days in Mendon Sarah who died 04 Sep ____ age 15 days in Mendon I have only put the bare bones here. The children abouve married: 01 Mary m 15 Aug 1753 Mendon, MA Rev. Moses Taft of Braintree, MA 02 Joseph Rawson m 06 Dec 1768 Medway, MA Catherine Bucknam of Medway. He was in the Rev. War 03 Catherine elizabeth m 27 Mar 1760 Mendon, MA Rev. Ezekiel Emerson of Uxbridge, MA 04 Susannah m 23 Aug 1779 Milford, MA. Rev. Amariah Frost as his second wife. Now to the lookups you are requestion - I have the printed vital records for the towns you mention, and I am willing to look up, but a bit more into specifics will be helpful.
