The Worcester Chapter of the Massachusetts Society of Genealogists will be holding its first meeting of the year at 7:00 Tuesday evening, Sept. 10, at the Auburn Public Library (next to the Auburn Mall). Guest speaker will be Janis Duffy of the Massachusetts Archives who will be speaking on "Passenger Lists for the Port of Boston ,1848-1891." She will discuss the similarities and differences between the state and federal passenger lists. The meeting is free and open to the public.
