This son, Alva, who turned up in both the birth- and deathregister confirms that this Jerome is the right person for us, because we know that Emmie was my husband's grandmother. However, we didn't know that they lived in Rhode Island! Emmie must have moved to Worcester later, then, because her youngest daughter, Sylvia, was born there. So, still looking for the marriage date of Jerome and Emmie, the search now narrowed down to 1895 to 1907, and probably to 1895 to 1903, looking at the other two entries!
