    2. Hello listers, I am new to this list, so let me start by introducing myself. My name is Eliane Heseltine, nee Mok. I live in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands. After working on my own family-history for a couple of years I took up the familyhistory of my husband, which is a lot more difficult, because that family has roots all over the world. Since it is quite difficult to travel that far for all the necessary information I make quite a lot of use of mailing-lists. Up until now my research has been aimed at the UK (Yorkshire in particular), but part of the family lived in Worcester for a while, which is why I would like to enlist your help. If I can assist any of you with a lookup in dutch archives, I will be happy to (try and) oblige. At the moment I am looking for any information on the following people: Emmie (or Emma) ARMITAGE (born 1873? in Huddersfield, Yorkshire) moved to Worcester (certainly the county, as far as I know the town) as a young woman, and got married to Jerome GAREAUX. They had five daughters, the youngest of which is Sylvia, born in 1912. A couple of months before Sylvia was born Jerome dissappeared, presumed dead. Some years later Emmie returned to the UK with her daughters. She died in 1932. Most important at the moment: when and where did Emmie and Jerome get married? What are the birthdates and names of the other 4 daughters? Could anyone help me please? Thank you very much Eliane Heseltine --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
