Looking for any information about my g-g-grandfather, William Bowen, who enlisted in the Revolutionary War at Uxbridge in 1780 and after the war returned to either Uxbridge or Mendon. William initially joined Captain Lunt's Company of the 13th Massachusetts and later was transferred to Captain Mills of Colonel Vose's regiment. Around 1810 or so, he moved to Ontario, NY. I have not been able to find out anything more about him while he lived in Worcester County. I mention his Revolutionary War service because there are other William Bowens in the same area, who unfortunately for my research, are not 'mine'. Any help or suggestions to locate him would be greatly appreciated in 'tracking him down'. Clare
