On Ancestry, I found the following reference Worcester County Probate Index 1731-1881 Name: Azubath Hibra Record Date: 1870 Residence: Winchendon Record Type: Administration How can I get copies of whatever might be included in this record? Also, I was given a death date for this person of May 10, 1869 by someone who gave the source only as "death record", and a date for her sister, Sally Hibra/Hibray/Hybray of July 23, 1866. Are there death records or cemetery records for this period which might verify the info I was given? If so, where do I start "digging". Karen: The death records most likely came from the NEHGS Database, New England Historical and Genealogical Society in Boston. This is a pay site. The index includes the image of the actual records on the books of the Town where the death was recorded. You would contact the Town with the name and dates etc. to get the records. Alternative I'll try to transcribe the data, depending on the quality of the image.
