Dear Fellow Listers, I do not know if this information would help find the owners of that head stone. I have several family members burried in different cemeteries in Milford, and quite a few in Upton. For years and years I have always been the one who brings the flowers or whatever has to be done. I could not find where one of my aunts was buried and I thought I would go to the Church where she belonged. The Church keeps the cemetery records. BUT I decided to go talk to the caretakers at the cemetery. That day 4 were working. So I identified myself to them. And then I asked did they know where my Aunt Bess was buried. They took out a book...looked it up and brought me over to her. There is that old cemetery on (I think)on Providence Road. But also quite a few old graves are at Vernon Grove cemetery In Milford. If that Albee Nichols family lived and died in Mendon...THey still could have been burried in Milford, Mendon OR Upton. The Churches and the cemetery have the RECORDS. Have a nice day!
