I have just subscribed, hoping to find the maiden name of the wife of William Oakes. She was Sarah ________. Their son Calvin was born 17 Mar 1765 in Worcester. Town records identify Calvin as the son of William and Sarah. He married Mary "Polly" Cary July 26, 1787 in Hardwick. If anyone recognizes this family, I'd love to hear from you. I have information on this family, including Calvin and his siblings -- but I surely would like to find Sarah's maiden name! Thanks, Pam (in Idaho)
