    3. An article in the Milford Daily News today - http://www.milforddailynews.com/localRegional/view.bg?articleid=90283 Police want to return headstone to where it belongs By Sara Withee / Daily News Staff Friday, April 21, 2006 - Updated: 01:13 AM EST The limestone block reads, "Enos T. Albee 1814-1887" and "his wife Deborah H. Nichols 1818 -1873." ... the 2-foot-tall headstone has been at Milford Police Headquarters for at least 16 years, he said, though no one seems to know how it arrived... I did some quick checking on ancestry and found Enos died 17 NOV 1887 in Mendon, Massachusetts so chances are the headstone is from a Mendon cemetery. According to a family tree posted at rootsweb.com Enos was the son of Jesse ALBEE Rachel BENSON who were married in Uxbridge. I'm sure this is not a very difficult problem to solve - they probably never thought to check with a genealogist - DUH I found Enos living with his son Charles and family in the 1880 census in Mendon - he was 66 and working in a boot factory. If anyone knows anything about where Enos' headstone belongs, you can check out the article - there is an email address for the author at the end. If you can't access the article, let me know and I'll send it to you. Lisa

    3. Good Evening All: Enos T. Albee is buried in the Taft-Lamothe Cemetery. He was the son of Jesse and Rachel Albee. However, his wife is not listed in the cemetery records - . At least that is where the stone should be placed. Regards, Alison Franks Archivist, Rawson Family Association
