Hi All: I was wondering if s.k.s out there could help me find some info on this. When I was a small kid I use to visit my grand parents and aunts in Worcester, I can remember my aunt taking me to an old stone tower or fort at the end of Hamilton St. she told me that it was used by the early settlers for protection from the Indians. She also took me to I think Green Hill park where there was another tower that was used for the same thing. What I would like to know is, 1 how many of these forts or towers there were and where they all were? 2 were they all over the state? Thanks. Ray Hunting.
