He married Oct 10, 1837 to Susan Brigham Rockwood, daughter of Rev. Elisha Rockwood of Swanzey, NH. She was born Oct 1, 1815 and died May 12, 1843. He married (2nd) on Feb 11, 1845, Anna Sophia Tyler, daughter of Deacon John E. Tyler. Mr. Deny was for years a partner in the well known firm of White and Denny, card clothing manufacturers. He was always interested in the town of Leicester and in national politics. He served the town of Leicester as selectman and in other offices, ad he represented his district in the general court. He was trustee of the Leicester Savings Bank and a Deacon of the First Cong. Church. He died Jly 8, 1895. The children of Christopher c. Denny were: (1) Hery Rockwood, born Feb 22, 1839, marrid Dec. 8, 1863 to Serena Arvena Sorenson of Copenhagen, Denmark, they resided in Carver, Minnesota, he was a U.S. Marshall for Minnesota, he had 5 children; (2) Theodore Addison born Aug 21, 1846, died Sept. 13, 1846. (3) Herbert Eugene born May 21, 1849 died May 30, 1863. (4) Parkman Tyler, born Dec. 20, 1851, married Nov. 22, 1881 to Cora Jennette Monroe, who was born on April 18, 1858, and died May 17, 1882, he married (2nd) on Dec. 13, 1887 to Grace L. McIntosh of Mattapan, Mass, she died Jan. 9, 1890, he married (3rd) on July 5, 1894 to Cora B. Knight, daghter of Charles S. and Louisa A.
