(IV) Benjamin WALLIS, son of John WALLIS (III) was born at Sherborn, Mass. on Dec 15, 1723, and died at Douglas (formerly New Sherborn because it was setted mainly by Sherborn families) Benjamin WALLIS went there early and his father also removed to the new town. Bemjamin Douglas WALLIS married Lydia DUDLEY, of Sutton, Mass. She was born in 1728 and died Dec. 23, 1820. Benjamin DUDLEY; Martha married Daniel HUNT; Samuel born June 12, 1758, died Jan. 2, 1848, married Hannah DUDLEY; James born Aug. 28, 1761, died Aug. 24, 1845, married Chloe HUMES; Jonathan born Feb. 26, 1765, died Feb. 28, 1865; Aaron born Sept. 12, 1768, died Aug. 9, 1845, married Prudence ALDRICH; Peter born Jan 22, 1770 died Sept. 17, 1775. (V) Benjamin WALLIS Jr. , son of Benjamin WALLIS (IV) was born in Douglas, Mass. on March 4,1751. He settled in Douglas nd married there Feb. 17, 1777, Sarah THAYER, descendant of the pioneer THAYER of Mendon, of the line of Ferdinando THAYER. Mr. WALLIS died Feb. 25, 1838.
