It appears that Clarence and Winifred were related before they married, which back then does not surprise me at all. :-) (((((Marcus L. and Della (Hatch) Cooper )))) ((((Augustus Wellington and Sarah J. (Hatch)Brooks))))) I wonder if Sarah J Hatch and Della Hatch were kin. I know of the Coopers and have their line all the way back to 1555 England, but never knew where the Hatch's entered the picture and never put 2 plus 2 together on them. Till now! :-) Beverly Brigham was my Mother. Its wrong with the J as her middle name was Grace. Priscilla E Brigham was my aunt and married Theron Pope , lived in Upton Ma. Ida may Damon is the daughter of Marcus M Cooper, son of Marcus L. She married Jonas S Damon in 1876 I know more about the Cooper's than I did about the Brigham's and thats where my brick wall was. Hi Joyce: It appears that Clarence left Winifred, or that Winnie didnt wish to go where Clarence wanted to go. I dont know the details of him except what I found in the census. Sarah Augusta Brooks was a bit of a toughie I thought that she had been married prior to George, but I had to wait for NEHGS to come back up to see what I could find out. I got to the point I had to put all of this on a family group sheet. Now are you sitting down? Remember Sarah Jane Hatch dau of Lyman and Polly (Fay) Hatch? She m1) Augustus W. Brooks and had Sarah Brooks She m2) Marcus Morton Cooper and had among others Marcus L. Cooper She m3) Daniel Tenney. So that makes Winnie and Clarence ½ 1st cousins So that makes Sarah Augusta Brooks and Marcus L. Cooper ½ siblings Henry A. Hatch and Sarah Jane Hatch are siblings so that makes Della F.
