Hi Charles, My family settled in Worcester County about 1734 and stayed through 1780s when they moved to Hartford NY. My greatx5 grandfather John Campbell b: 1727 Scotland was a private in George Kimball's Regiment from Lunenburg and fought in the Revolution. We suspect his father (my greatx6) was John or William Campbell but not sure when he was born in Scotland or even when he passed in MA. If you find anything please share as I would like to know about colonial life at this time in MA. Thanks!
