    3. I am answering to this earlier post. I stated I went as far as I could in Swimming lessons when I was in eigth grade. The next thing to do was take the life Savers Course. I weighed only about 70 pounds. The life savers course was offered at Whites Beach in Mendon. I aslo stated you had to wear a T Shirt over your bathing suit and jeans and a sweatshirt and socks and sneakers.....They took you out in a row boat and the instructor had to jump in the water and you had to turn the fighting person over and cuff him under his chin and bring him safely to shore. You had to do this three times without going under...AND I said on the third attempt I went under and it was an immediate FAIL.They told me to come back when I had a few more pounds on me I did not finish that story. I went back up there when I was a Junior in High School....The same two instructors took me out on the lake again. When I first jumped in the water I looked them straight in the eyes.. AND I said if either one of them JUMPED on my head I was going to consult an attorney. The reason why I went UNDER on my first try was because on THAT first TRY the INSTRUCTOR jumped on my head and that was why I went under and FAILED. They said they would not do it this time and the reason why they did it the first time was because I did not wiegh enough to become a life Saver yet...SO I said well then you should have told me that last time and I would not have tried out till I was older....Sheryl that was BOB PAGNINI and BOB MCGINNUS.....They both were the INSTRUCTERS >From: Sheryl Romasco <[email protected]> >To: "Maureen Cooley" <[email protected]> >Subject: Re: [MAWORCES] About Mendon, Mass. >Date: Wed, 8 Mar 2006 21:10:16 -0500 > >Hi Maureen, > >I have been at meetings every night this week so I am behind on all my >reading.
