Lisa its true...I would want to forget that. The P. Eugene Casey pool was originally at Fino Field in Milford. I rode my bicycle there for years. The one that is near Shaws right now was built to replace it. ALSO where Iandoli's market was....It was originally built for MacCrackens market. When they first opened....They had an attraction to get the shoppers in...THE WORLDS TALLEST MAN= it was a man on very HIGH STILTS who walked around the parking lot for the first week. ALSO there was a BOWLING alley there. It was owned by the PAPELIANS. (She also brought bands in...listen to live music while you bowled.)..IT was closed quite a few years ago but the name of that whole shopping center was Pappelians Shopping center. They brought it down(bowling) to make Shaws Larger and of cource they kept what is now Walgreens.(That was called at the time Romiglio's Pharmancy.
