Hi Joyce: Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com I think are owned by what is called My Family.com. Depending on what you require, would determine which would be your best route to go. There are many things that are on-line for free. Ancestry has some of the stuff that is free to all. Maureen is correct, Ancestry is not cheap anymore. Getting more expensive all the time. One thing I do not like is them charging for stuff that is elsewhere for free and has been there for free. 1880, 1901, 1911 Canadian Census records for instance. Make up a listing of what you need in the "Group and Class" mode, and post a bit to the list. I'm willing to try to help. If what you are looking for is in another county other than Worcester Co., MA - you might meet with some opposition from others on *this* list. I don't have a problem with who/where - because some may have been born in Worcester Co., but not necessarily died there, or the parents were not from Worcester Co., from the gitgo. Besides we who are on this list are here to help one another and doing a good deed each and every day is the right thing to do. Regards, Alison Franks Archivist, Rawson Family Association
