I'm sitting out here in California reading all your wonderful descriptions of life in Mendon. Although I grew up in California, my early ancestry is right where you are. I keep hoping that one day I'll be driving those back roads between Mendon and Uxbridge myself. Two questions: 1. While I don't know exactly where my ancestor lived, I do know he moved to an area of Mendon in 1723 which became part of Uxbridge when it incorporated. Where would that area be on a current map? 2.
