    3. Hi Jackie, You should be able to write a letter to the City Clerk's Office at Fitchburg City Hall and request research for "death records." Although I have found out from the City Halls in other large MA cities, that they are now charging a fee for "genealogy research." For instance, the City of Cambridge is now charging a "research fee," even if you go there and look through the "record books" yourself ! Something like $15 per hour !
