Thats what it was!! Harry's Sandwhich stand with a smaller sign that said Stand of 1,000 sandwhiches. It was actually across the street from White City Amusement Park.By the way this is the corner of ROUTE 9. The International House of Pancakes is right where Harry's use to. Across the street BUT the same siade as the Amusement Park. Actually Across the other side of the street and down a little way was the Famous SPAGS. That is still there but it is run by the original owners son and he changed quite a few things. That was a beautiful post card of the Amusement Park. When I was growing up there use to be hundreds of sail boat in that water on both side of Route 9 >From: "Lisa Lepore" <[email protected]> >To: [email protected] >Subject: Re: [MAWORCES] Dear Old Mendon >Date: Thu, 16 Mar 2006 00:10:03 -0500 > >I never went to White City - I just knew it was there. >The info I sent earlier came from a booklet I have about >Jolly Cholly's - I got it from the N.
