Good Evening All: I am sending this information about the Mendon Historical Society Meeting which will be held Thursday Evening 11 May 2006 at 6:30 pm at the Mendon Senior Center on Providence Road in Mendon. Prior to the meeting, there will be a showing of a very old stage curtain which was recently found on the 3d floor of the Town Hall during Renovations. During the meeting a discussion will be held on what to do with the curtain. Also on display as the evening program will be the 300th Anniversary Mendon Quilt which has many notable names included on it. There will be light refreshments after the meeting. Please attend and bring a friend with you. Anyone who is going, it would be nice to have a list of the names that are on the quilt posted to the lists! Any volunteers to do this? I would do it, but I am a bit too far away to even attend the meeting, though I wish I could.
