Iwas born and raised in Welsh, LA, in Cajun country and I am French speaking. I know live about 150 miles away in Gonzales, near Baton Rouge. My search started with Ballou in Worcester, and is now in the Milwaukee, Oregon area where the only known relatives of my husband's father are, the 2 children of Verne Eustis Ballou,d. in 1980, but I have not been able to connect yet. Hi Linda, Do you have Adin Ballou in your tee? He established a Utopian Society in Hopedale MA. It failed and a man named Draper made a go of it with Draper Corporation. Draper Corporation was brought to Hopedale by my dad's relatives. This corporation employed area families with work for quite a long time.
