Hello from southern Virginia, I've just joined this list in hopes of tracing the ancestry of Francis William SCHAEFFER, b. 3-Jan-1891 in Webster, Massachusetts. He married Mary Ernestine GROSSMAN 31 July 1915. Mary Ernestine GROSSMAN was b. 3 August 1893 in Lisbon Falls, Maine and d. Sept. 1986 in Reading, Massachusetts. I look forward to hearing from anyone on this list who may be able to help further my research. I'm not related to either of the above people -- Mary [GROSSMAN] SCHAEFFER was my mother's first mother-in-law and the paternal grandmother to my half-sister [12 years older than me]. My half-sister is the mother of two daughters [from a first marriage] and one son [from her current [2nd] marriage] and the information would help fill in their family tree.
