Through a recommendation from a list member, I was able to secure the obituary notice for William H. HARE, connecting me to an unknown sister in Menominee, MI. While Rachel died in 1948, her descendants still have her bible and many stories to share. Her bible contains a copy of her 1882 marriage certificate, with a witness that brings me much closer to confirming their Canadian origin . . . AND we have MORE distant cousins!
