The town name is Rindge. Do Yahoo search on Rindge,NH and Yahoo map will show you Rindge and Jaffrey. Both towns have neat web sites. There is a park in Jaffrey named after one of my relatives. Do not know anything about 1947. Will ask my mom and dad. They were in Winchendon area about that time. Bill
