ALBEE, Asa, b. 2 Apr 1807, Charlton, d 8 Sept 1843 Charlton, Worcester Co., MA (son of Willard ALBEE, b. 28 Apr 1773 Charlton, d. 14 Jan 1842 and Mrs. Dorcas WHITE, b. 26 Jan 1781, Dudley, MA, d. Nov. 1819 where? Willard m. 2) Hannah Stone BROWN, b. 1783 QUESTIONS: 1. Who are Rachel BROWN's parents and lineage? 2. Massachusetts Town Marriage Records have her a MRS. Dorcas White marrying Willard Albee Dec 6, 1801 in Dudley, MA. Therefore is WHITE a married name or maiden name, and her parents and ancestry? BICKFORD, Maria Augusta (daughter of Almon BICKFORD and Marietta COLLER, d 16 Feb 1844 Oxford, MA), b. 4 Jul 1834 Millbury, MA, d. 7 Jan 1892 Ashland, MA m. ALBEE, Henry (son of Asa & Rachel Brown), b. 8 Sep 1833, Charlton, d. 19 Jun 1887, Charlton. QUESTIONS: 1. Looking for any information on family lines of Almon BICKFORD and Marietta COLLER. ALBEE, Lillian Augusta, b. Jun 13, 1861 Charlton, MA (daugher of Henry & Maria BICKFORD), d or buried Marlboro, MA m. 28 Oct 1890, Ashland, MA CONE, James Woodbury, b. 4 Jul 1850, d. 1911-1912 ?CA, buried? According to “Some Account of the Cone Family in America” compiled by William Whitney CONE 1903 pg 276-286 & 299, they had no children in 1893. He has been an editor and publisher of two newspapers. He writes that his life has been an uneventful one, which is perhaps not strange as these were Eastern newspapers. Lived at Ayer MA (these comments were the compiler WW Cone who was a newspaper editor also.) Marriage certificates I obtained states occupation as finisher on one and Mill Sp. on the other. Lillian has occupation as Heel op. Residence as Spencer. James was noted to be 35 years of age on this certificate. (Did he not tell Lillian true age?) They had one daughter that I know of Marjorie CONE, b. 6 Jul 1894, Brookfield, MA QUESTIONS: 1. Did they have any other children? 2. Is there a way of finding what newspapers he published?
