Edie, What THOMPSONs are you researching. I have THOMPSON line that came from England > Mass > New York > Ontario,Canada > Michigan > North Dakota > Oregon. Some of them got to Oregon around 1920 and started out in the Silverton, area, then moved to the Portland area around the 1930s.
