It has a good bus system, something that Fort Worth lacks. Here, if I want to go somewhere, I have to go downtown first and then transfer to some other line. I like the copious amounts of trees in their landscapes and the fact that nobody runs red lights! Here, people run them with impugnity---they have absolutely no fear that they will receive a traffic ticket. The people there have always been friendly to me. We do have the Federal Archives here, and that's really helpful, but more and more places are carrying the Census microfiches, so trekking down to the Archives is not as necessary as it used to be. Charlotte has more humidity, but on the other hand also is not as windy as here..... Pat
