I sure learned to appreciate my ancestors for all they went through in the old days. I have so many stories on them and when reading I'm in awe over how soft we've become. Just thinking about living in hot and humid weather and the women wearing those long dresses, hand washing clothes, cooking from scratch, and some having to make all the clothes all in the family wore, beside having to tote a gun at all times.
