Sleep on the couch for various reasons; one is Fibromyalga which is arthritis of the muscles and tendons. When I got my new puppy (a one and one-half year old shi-itsu {ignore the spelling please, Pat}), I must have kicked him because he bit my toe. Now how can I blame him? I certainly would want to take a bite out of someone if they kicked me. This happened two more times and he soon learned to scrunch way down on the couch or get up and leave. No more biting of toes, thank heavens! Fortunately he didn't break the skin but it stung like Hades. Norma >> All the Doctor told me it was Arthritis, no mention of what kind. My Niece, who is just 22 has been told she has the kind you mention. Do you take any particular med. for it? I am also on the couch a lot. Particularly on bad nights, I keep moving and keep hubby awake and he is grumpy then. Besides the couch rests better for me. Poor couch, just wore out.:) The bed is elevated for him and it bothers my back on bad days. Any idea what causes it? Jackie
