    1. Re: [MAUPIN-CHAT] SNOW IN LAWTON?
    2. Mary Lynn Winham
    3. It snowed for two days, finally stopped this afternoon. It's a really wet snow which we need so badly. The roads never did get bad. On the other hand, my daughter who lives in Enid is STILL without electricity from the ice storm over a week ago, and yesterday was the first day the schools opened. The tree damage up there is just horrible. She lives in the historic section of town where there were so many old, old trees, and most of them are gone. While talking to her during the storm I heard a terrible noise and it was a large tree that cracked and fell against the side of their house. Thank goodness it missed windows. They have a major clean up to do. She said firetrucks were out pulling the bigger trees that had fallen, out of the streets. We were very lucky. The ice storm line stopped just about 15 miles North of us.
