Okay, I thought I would share with you all what I've been going thru since last Thursday. Since it is now turning to early winter here...the animals in the wild are searching for warmer places to live. I live in a very small town on the banks of the Maumee river just south of Toledo, Ohio, just before it merges into Lake Erie. We have deer, and many small critters and one such guy..a racoon decided he liked the garage. The trash receptacles are the covered lid ones so there wasn't a worry there. But the guy really liked climbing all over my car and this morning I got up to it being more pawprints than anything else. But that wasn't the biggie! A few weeks back I bought a new xmas tree (not real of course) and it has been sitting in my garage ever since. Never dreaming that I would lose the box so quickly, when I went out there this am, the little guy had chewed and tore off the whole of the top and evidently went down inside as the tree's box was busted completely out with half the tree inside and most outside of it. Plus I noticed bits and pieces of the summer solar pool cover laying about. Sheesh, can they be destuctive or what? Fortunately a friend was able to persuade the fellow to leave!! To bad it couldn't have been sooner. Those dat burn critters! :-| Tamara
