See where the water would run if you have a washer and dryer in the house. I was cussing out the guy who laid the tile in my parent's house because of the gap under the door to the garage from the laundry room-was replacing the threshold. Well, the water ran under the door and through the wall into the garage. Had some into the kitchen but about sixty gallons went into the garage! The laundry room floor also slopes to the garage.
