Dear Bettye, I,too,have the same double-jointed fingers. My mother tells of the first time she bought me gloves as a toddler and gave up trying to get them on. Mitten from then on! Another genetic question- I can fold my tongue in half and also roll it up. These are genetic characteristics. Who else has these "talents"? I think it is a given that the Maupins were musical.
