I had that done with Vicks or Mentholatim (sp?) with a sock wrapped around my neck and held by safety pins, since I always seemed to have tonsillitis. And, yes, my chest got rubbed with those things. Don't forget Bengay! That is one of my favorite old smells, when sick. But, now we have Sportscreme and Aspercreme that does the job better and doesn't smell! What a trip down memory lane! Sandi
Sandi, One of my favorites..not to mention the lemon juice rinse..that was brought up before..but then again..lemon juice does a lot! (clothes in the "frig" spinkled with a light lemon water and sugar..before ironing..)
