    3. Anthony, was your Dad in the Army? If so, you get a DD214 and it gives -any and all campaigns, injuries, etc elistment, discharge and medals, etc. Alot of info there. The Navy calls it something else - I got my gf Spanish American War document , my 3 brothers (2 Army - 1 was WWII, Korea and VN, he died in 1999) and 1 in the Navy. Since I am hobbled right now it is hard to go looking for some things. But you do need the Form 180. Did you call the Hamilton Library to see if they have it? Sandi and others, I will look up the info and get back with you. cf ----- Original Message ----- From: "anthony maupin" <tonyandebi1@yahoo.com> To: <MAUPIN-CHAT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2002 4:29 PM Subject: Re: Fwd: [MAUPIN-CHAT] military records > carolyn > thanks for the info found a website last night that > told me just that on the standard 180 form it also > said you could get just about anything you wanted you > just had to be sure to be specific on the form as to > what information you wanted. the website was called > the sons of world war 2 vets had alot of interesting > stuff there medical records awards theatre of action > all that sort if stuff. > thanks > anthony > > > > --- SandKatC@aol.com wrote: > > In a message dated 10/9/02 8:18:31 AM, > > celticblood@earthlink.net writes: > > > > Carolyn, have you gotten military records before?
