Curly is due at our vet's in an hour. She needs some shots since the dog license is due so they said they'd take the head out and clean out the area w/o an extra charge. I emailed a Vet friend last evening and she said to use triple antibiotic ointment. She didn't think we needed to take Curly to the vet but we aren't taking chances since the tick lodged near her right ear. =^..^=
