    1. [MAUPIN-CHAT] THE BOSS
    2. A husband was advised by his psychiatrist to assert himself. "You don't have to let your wife henpeck you. Go home and show her you're the boss." The man was on fire with enthusiasm and couldn't wait to try the Doctor's advice... He rushed home, slammed the door, shook his fist in his wife's face, and growled, "From now on, you're taking orders from me. I want my supper right now, and when you get it on the table, go upstairs, and lay out my best clothes. Tonight, I'm going out with the boys and you're going to stay home where you belong. And another thing.. you know who's going to comb my hair, adjust my pants, and then tie my tie?" "I certainly do," said his wife calmly.... "The undertaker.

    2. Hi all, You ladies better hide you husband. Ones that help around the house are subject to be stolen. Mine goes to grocery to buy what he wants only. I give him a list and he may or may not get what I want. I asked him to get me some diet jello (diabetes) and sure enough he came back with regular. I do my own shopping for things I need now. If he runs out of clean socks, he buys more. I have no room to store anything now. : ) Oh well, he does take me out to dinner once or twice a week. Norma

    2. I taught all my boys how to clean house, cook and do laundry. I told them when they move out and batching it, they need to know this. Some can do much better than the women. The main challenge is time. One works 6 and sometimes 7 days a week 12 hours a day. He is so tired he don't care how dirty the house is! Jackie

    2. Now mine loves to grocery shop, and I let him. If I want to browse the grocery store I go by myself. Once we went together and he got upset over something I wanted to buy there. I walked out and left him there by himself. He is so picky of brand and location for buying things. It works better that way. All I do is write down what I want him to get. Jackie

    2. When we didn't have a washer and dryer, he would take it to the laundry mat. I didn't drive then and we had only one car. The ladies would feel sorry for him and do it and even fold it for him! This o course was more than 30 years ago. LOL Jackie
