    3. I have two bad knees and can sympathize. No surgery though. Have torn ligaments from lifting weights-MCL on left and the opposite on the Right. I fell face first when skiing. I keep taking my MSM Glucosamine and that is all I need. I take it before I do any work or walking over uneven ground. I take at least 1200mg of Glucosamine and Chondroitin. Research done in TX has proven that Glucosamine and Chondroitin do REPAIR ligament damage. Bone chips are another story. Make sure to see on an Xray. These surgeries are becoming like hysterectomies-the bread and butter of an orthopedic surgeon. Lynn AH-HO! 3. Lynn - MSM Glucosamine is what have kept me going for over 3 years - The dtr will probably do an MRI - believe me - surgery WILL BE MY LAST RESORT. I have to find out WHAT exactly is wrong with that old knee. They won't operate on me just because - I'll have to have a definite answer to many questions. However, it has restricted my walking to a very large extent and now this--it hasn't hurt this bad since 1994. 3. We lived in Massachusetts for over five years. They were not friendly up there. They didn't like military kids because we weren't staying. Culturally it was very different. We said the Pledge of Allegiance in English but sang the French National Anthem at the start of school every day. This was topped off with "God save the Common Wealth of Massachusetts"! 3. Yes,the "Civil War" started at 0700 and ended after dark. I had been up all night doing genealogy and had not planned to stay up during the day and watch TV. It was great!! I'm sure it will be on again. When it was on the first time I was working 1900-0700 and missed it. I have been watching a lot of reruns these last two years because I have always been at work. I would like to see the last year of "Dr.Quinn,Medicine Woman" but it is nowhere. The first couple of years have been on at 0200 and I have made a point to watch or tape them. So----Sulley is at the bottom of a cliff chased there by soldiers. I know he must live because there was a sequel where he and Dr.Mike are much older-the daughter is out of medical school. There are Ken Burns stories on PBS all this week starting with Frank Lloyd Wright. 3. I do not understand how areas with previous hits from storms allow building onto flood planes etc. I did see some houses built 15feet above flood level in South TX and that was not high enough. When a piece of iceberg breaks off the size of Delaware (due to global warming) that water has to go someplace. I guess Italy will never be under flood stage again! I wish I had gone to Italy before all of these antiquities were destroyed.
