Sandi--Thanks for posting the obituary of Charles Edward, my dad's first cousin. For anyone who was at the Charlottesville Maupin Reunion where a wreath was placed on the grave of Socrates in the UVA cemetery, Charles Edward was one of the wreath layers. He was a really nice guy and when I used to visit Okla City as a little girl, my uncle would take me over and Charles Edward would work his ham radio for me and talk to people all over the world. So sad to see so many of the great Maupins passing on. Denise
