Good Evening, Maupin Group!!! While working on Thomas Crease tonight I found a copy of the inventory of his estate dated Janaury 27, 1757. Many of the items listed were not mentioned in his will. Undoubtedly most of these items would have belonged to our Marie Hersent Maupin Crease, since she had only died ten years earlier. Six slaves are listed. Remember Thomas and Marie lived in Williamsburg in the house on lot 352 which was located at the corner of the Duke of Glouster Street and Naussau. Total value of the estate was 166 pounds 4. 3.
