William--That is an exciting find about the Maupin lots in Wmsburg. What is now called the Tallifiero-Cole Tenement used to have a plaque on it called the Custis-Maupin House. But I had no idea it was George Washington's wife Martha. She was a widow when she married GW, so she must have lived there w/her first husband. Do you agree? Denise
